Cancellation Policy

No lock-ins. No cancellation fees. Cancel anytime from your account settings.
At Grahbook India, we believe you should never feel stuck. This policy explains how cancellations work, what happens to your data, and how to cancel your subscription.
When Cancellation Takes Effect
When you cancel your subscription, the cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle — not immediately. This means:
- You retain full access to all paid features until the end of the period you have already paid for
- If you are on a monthly plan and cancel on day 10, you continue to have access for the remaining 20+ days of that month
- If you are on a yearly plan, you retain access until the annual subscription period ends
- After the billing period ends, your account is automatically downgraded to the free Mukhiya plan (not deleted)
No Cancellation Fee
There is absolutely no cancellation fee, penalty, or charge for cancelling your subscription. We do not require any notice period. Cancel at any time, for any reason.
Your Data After Cancellation
We understand your business data is important. Here is what happens after cancellation:
- Your account is downgraded to the free Mukhiya plan, not deleted
- All your data (invoices, customers, transactions) is retained and accessible for 30 days after your paid subscription ends
- After 30 days on the free plan, data exceeding free plan limits may become inaccessible but will not be permanently deleted for another 60 days
- If you choose to permanently delete your account, your data will be erased within 30 days of the deletion request
- Transaction records may be retained for up to 7 years for tax and legal compliance purposes, even after account deletion
We strongly recommend exporting your data (invoices, customer lists, reports) before your paid plan ends. Go to Dashboard → Export to download a full backup.
How to Cancel Your Subscription
Cancellation is self-service and takes less than a minute. Follow these steps:
Log in to your Grahbook account at grahbook.com
Sign in with your email and password or Google account
Go to Settings
Click the Settings icon in the left sidebar or navigate to grahbook.com/settings
Open Subscription
Click on the 'Subscription' tab in Settings
Click Cancel Subscription
Select 'Cancel Plan' and confirm your choice. You will see when your access ends.
After cancellation, you will receive a confirmation email with the date your paid access ends.
Reactivating Your Subscription
Changed your mind? You can reactivate your subscription at any time from Settings → Subscription → Upgrade. All your data will be exactly as you left it, as long as you reactivate within the 30-day retention window.
Enterprise Plan Cancellations
For Samrat (Enterprise) plan cancellations, please contact your dedicated account manager or email us at support@grahbook.com at least 30 days before your renewal date. Enterprise cancellation terms may be subject to your individual enterprise agreement.
